1. Introduction
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Replace those boring prompts with lightbar prompts! This package of
ppe's will replace 10 of your default prompts with prompts that have full
lightbar and hotkey support.
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
2. Installation
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Step 1. Create a separate directory for this package.
ie: mkdir c:\ppe\pg
Step 2. Unzip the original zip file into the new directory.
ie: pkunzip dj-pg10 \ppe\pg
Step 3. Run INSTALL.BAT to install the prompts. It will tell you the
correct syntax necessary (ie: you will need to specify the
location of your PCBTEXT file).
You are welcome to edit INSTALL.BAT to suit your needs. You
may want to take a peek down below for a quick description of
the prompts and what they replace.
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
3. Configuration
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Feel free to modify all the config files as you see fit. I have also
included prepackaged config files for each basic color scheme. Inside the file
"COLORS.ZIP" are corresponding zip files for each color. Simply pick the one
you want to use by unzipping COLORS.ZIP and then the file for your color (for
example, "RED.ZIP" for the red color configuration).
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
4. Quick Desscription of Files
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Each ppe and its corresponding configuration file is named according
to the prompt it replaces (ie: 192.ppe and 192.cfg). Additionally, some of
the ppe's have a "help" screen. These are named in a similar fashion (ie:
192help.pcb).
Prompt # Description
-------- -----------
196 "More" prompt- Continue, Stop, Nonstop
296 "Scan for new messages?"
403 "Abort entry" (when entering a message)
449 "Continue upload will lose flagged files!"
474 "Upload Commands"
500 "Download flagged files?"
550 "Download Commands"
551 "Batch Commands"
662 "You have new mail! Read it now?"
678 "QWK Commands"

5. Miscellaneous Notes
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
This could have looked neater/more tidy by doing all of these prompts
in one ppe, but then that would be terribly slow to parse at run time. Hence,
I just decided to create a separate ppe for each prompt. No extra variables
are wasted and no humongous config file containing all the config options for
all the prompts (imagine the mess!).
I would have included source for all of them as part of the distribu-
tion, but they all look alike and including them would only bloat the zip file
unnessarily. These were not terribly difficult to write, as my code was more
or less cut and pasted from my "Turbo Logon" ppe (which includes source). So
if looking at my Turbo Logon ppe source is not good enough and you really
really REALLY want the source to all of these prompt ppe's for some reason,
just drop me a note and I'll be happy to give you a copy.
(Drew's personal opinion: what's the big deal about keeping source code a
big secret to some simple ppe's anyway??? It's not like we're going to be
making money off of them!)
Look for version 1.1 of Prompts Galore! to replace over TWO DOZEN
of your prompts with more lightbar action. :)
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
6. Caveats
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Sorry, the hot-keys for each possible command in the prompts are not
configurable. This shouldn't cause too much a problem, but I suppose if enough
people complain, I will try to make it configurable in some manner in the next
version.

7. Greets
